1. Information We Collect
We collect your email address and name when you sign in with Google. We store QR code data you generate and your IP address for rate limiting.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used for account management, displaying your QR code history, and improving the service.
3. Cookies
We use a session cookie for authentication and a locale cookie to remember your language preference. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
4. Third-Party Services
We use Google OAuth for authentication. When you sign in, Google's privacy policy applies to the data they process. Visit https://policies.google.com/privacy for details.
5. Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous usage data (page views, browser type, country) to understand how QRay is used. Google Analytics respects the Do Not Track (DNT) browser setting; when DNT is enabled, no analytics data is sent. See Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
6. Data Retention
Generated QR codes are cached for 24 hours. Your account data and QR code history are retained until you request deletion.
7. Your Rights
You may request a copy of your data, request account deletion, or withdraw Google OAuth consent at any time through your Google account settings.
8. Data Security
We use HTTPS encryption, secure credential storage, and follow industry best practices to protect your data.
9. Children's Privacy
QRay is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy and will notify users of material changes through the service.
